Yaw has experience in pre and post contract administration and is adept with the preparation of bills of quantities and estimates, tender and contract documents, tender evaluation, technical auditing, selection of contractors and evaluation of contractors’ works.
He holds a BSc. in Building Technology from KNUST and is currently working on a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies. At Fundamental Construction Co., he was in charge of remodelling of a house at Cantonments and the development of a service station for Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) at North Legon.
He has worked on projects such as the construction of Embassy Row Apartments, Cantonments; construction of an academic block for the University of Cape Coast Medical School; service stations for GOIL in Takoradi, Tarkwa and Kpando; construction of a church auditorium for St. Ignatius Catholic
Church, Baatsona, among others.
He has also worked on residential, industrial and commercial projects. At IHL, he is responsible for quantifying project costs, tender and contract documentation, selection of contractors and subcontractors and providing project specification.
